It was how different parts of the app fit together. I went from learning a topic, to testing myself, to practising communication, to exploring career tools and finally sharing what I discovered. So here are 5 LoWisa features I think learners should experience for themselves. I started here because I wanted to see how LoWisa handles something outside a fixed course. Instead of searching through a list and hoping I find exactly what I need, I could describe the topic I wanted to learn and let LoWisa structure it into a learning experience. What I found interesting was that it wasnโt simply: โHereโs an answer. Good luck.โ The topic was broken down into lessons so I could work through it progressively. ๐ช๐ต๐ should you ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐? Because sometimes the problem isnโt finding information. Itโs knowing how to turn that information into something you can actually understand. This was one of the features that made me stop and think about the difference between consuming information and actually learning it. After a level, LoWisa doesnโt just move on. Thereโs a checkpoint to test what you understood, alongside flashcards for revision. That matters because itโs very easy to finish a lesson and think: โYeah, I understand this.โ Until youโre asked to actually recall it. ๐ ๐ช๐ต๐ should you ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐? Because testing yourself exposes the gaps that rereading can hide. I also tried Insight Mode. Instead of going through the lesson only by reading, I could listen to the course as a two host style episode. That immediately made me think about how different people learn differently. Sometimes you donโt want to stare at a screen. You might be commuting, walking, cooking or simply tired of reading. Being able to turn part of the learning experience into something you can listen to gives you another way to engage with the material. ๐ช๐ต๐ should you ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐? Because flexibility matters when youโre trying to build a consistent learning habit. This one was different. Instead of learning a concept, I had to actually respond. LoWisa lets you practise interview questions out loud and gives feedback on the response. That changes the experience from: โI know the answer.โ to: โCan I actually explain the answer when someone asks me?โ And those arenโt the same thing. ๐ช๐ต๐ should you ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐? Because knowing something privately and communicating it under pressure are two different skills. And this is probably the most appropriate place to finish this postโฆ because Iโm using it right now. Clock it gives learners a place to share what theyโve discovered. But while writing this, I realised something: Explaining something youโve just learned is another form of testing yourself. If you canโt explain an idea clearly, maybe you havenโt understood it as well as you thought. That makes the process feel less like: ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป โ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ and more like: ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป โ ๐จ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ โ ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ โ ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป. Before exploring LoWisa, I was thinking about it mainly as an AI tool After actually going through these features, I started seeing it differently. ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ & ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ make you recall what you learned. ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฒ gives you another way to consume a lesson. ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ makes you communicate what you know. And ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ถ๐ gives you somewhere to share and explain what youโve discovered. Thatโs what stood out to me, itโs not just about getting information from AI, itโs about using AI as part of the learning process, and honestly, I think thatโs a more interesting way to look at AI. ๐ @LoWisadev
