18 September 2026: Stop Saying, Speak, and a morning you can walk away from
LoWisa for Android and iPhone 1.8.7.
- Stop Saying: a new option under Speaking & communication. One flat word a day, seven better ones said the way you will actually use them, presented by Lo. It is a daily task like the Bug of the day, with a row in Daily tasks and a notification each morning. Speak regularly and the word is chosen from your own speaking habits.
- Speaking & communication needs a subscription and credits. The free trial credits count, so a new account can use both Speak and Stop Saying in full before deciding. An account with none is shown the subscribe and top-up screen instead of a silent failure.
- The daily word never runs out: thirty written cards, sixty more words after them, and new ones after that.
- The morning mission can be left once it is answered. There is now a door to your home screen beside the cohort one, and the back button works again on that screen.
- The greeting on the home screen changes with the day instead of repeating one line.
16 September 2026: Home dashboard, notifications and search
LoWisa for Android and iPhone 1.8.6.
- Home: the app opens on a dashboard. A greeting that knows whether you are new or returning, one Start learning banner, Continue your learning beside Quick practice, Your career toolkit, Tools & support, and a tab bar for Learn, Community, Career and Profile.
- Notifications: the bell lists what is waiting for you, such as the Bug of the day, daily quests still open, a streak at risk, an app update, unread messages, cohort join requests, a reply from the team and new jobs on your alerts. It marks them seen once opened.
- Search: one box over every feature, path, course and lesson, with roads to Jobs and Cohorts that carry your words along.
- Wallpapers: fourteen new backgrounds in soft colours, Cloud by default. The Community tab opens on Cohorts.
15 September 2026: Home screen launcher, Fix it, Jobs matching and Talk to us
LoWisa for Android 1.8.5.
- Home: the app opens on a launcher of tiles, one per feature, with a choice of wallpapers. The learning path map sits behind the Learn tile.
- Fix it: describe a problem in your own words, from a photo or from a screenshot shared to LoWisa, and get a step-by-step fix with a picture at each step.
- Jobs: listings from companies' own career pages and public boards chosen for your country and city, ranked against what you have learned, built and put on your résumé, with the reasons for each match, saved jobs, alerts, interview practice and a résumé tailored to the listing you pick.
- Resume: your résumé rewritten for a role without inventing anything, in three layouts with a photo, exported as PDF or Word, with a box to ask for a change.
- Talk to us: a private message to the LoWisa team, with screenshots, and a feedback form. Convert a file to PDF, Word or JPG from the home screen.
- Fixes for Clock it profiles, the Send button on small screens and cohort channel pictures, which now stay private to the members.
13 September 2026: Community messaging, reactions and the daily bug board
LoWisa for Android 1.8.4.
- Cohort channels: messages use the full width, the sender name sits within the message, images can be sent and viewed in the app, and a removed message can be restored by the person who removed it within one minute. The conversation holds its position while new messages arrive.
- Mentions: member names are suggested as you type @, and tapping a name in a conversation inserts a mention.
- Bug of the Day: a daily board lists who solved the puzzle, in order, in the cohort channel and on the standings page, with 3, 2 or 1 XP for a first, second or third attempt. Result cards cannot be removed.
- Clock it: comments accept the full set of reactions, and the Community page has been simplified.
- Moderation: cohort creators can delegate the right to delete messages; removals and restores are recorded in a log available to the creator.
9 September 2026: Cohort profiles, and a welcome for everyone who joins
LoWisa for Android 1.8.1.
- A cohort creator or admin can now give the group a picture, name it, set its subject in their own words and say what it is for. A cohort started outside a learning path no longer inherits a path title it never had.
- A welcome message can be written once and is posted in the channel every time somebody new joins, greeting them by name, so a new member knows what the group is for before they read anything else.
- Links are live everywhere people write: channel messages, direct messages, pinned notes, Clock it posts, comments and profiles.
9 September 2026: Community, Clock it and learning cohorts
LoWisa for Android 1.8.0.
- Cohorts: learning groups with a channel, direct messages, creator and admin roles, daily work set by the creator, planned lessons and contests.
- Clock it: a collective AI knowledge base where learners post what they discovered, follow each other, react and comment, with a gate that reads every post before it lands.
- Profiles with a picture, occupation, links and follower counts, plus report and block controls on everything people write.
9 September 2026: The tutor moves to the new interactive runtime
LoWisa IDE 0.9.27.
- Tutor turns, live reads and live writes are served by the new always-on runtime, so answers start sooner and hold up under load.
- Signed builds for Windows, macOS and Linux, published together so every download and update feed agrees.
25 August 2026: LoWisa arrives on Google Play
LoWisa for Android 1.2.4.
- The phone app goes public: structured paths for careers, programming languages and industrial systems, or any topic you name, taught lesson by lesson with the tutor writing and speaking every lesson.
